Role: Maintenance Fitter

Location: Carrickfergus

Hours: 38 hours, dayshift during training; rotating shifts thereafterPay: £16.97 per hour / £33,532.72 per annum, excluding shift premium

A businessthatmanufactures automotive components, particularly aluminium die-cast parts, for the automotive industry.They are now looking aMaintenance Fitter.

Shift Premiums

• 22% shift premium for 8-hour rotating shifts
• 36% shift premium for 24/6 or 24/7 rotating 12-hour shifts
• Initial dayshift training, generally 612 months depending on progress

The Role:

You would maintain,repairand prepare dies used in the manufacturing process. Therole involves finding and fixing faults, carrying out regular maintenance, and making sure equipment is safe, reliableand ready for production.

The Requirements:

1. Time-served mechanical maintenance background NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
2. Welding Experience
