Aquaforce Builders are a busy, established building company based in Newtownabbey, with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service. Due to continued growth and an ongoing programme of building and renovation projects, we are looking to add an experienced Site Joiner / Multiskilled Tradesperson to our team.
We are looking for someone whose main trade is joinery, but who can also turn their hand to a variety of other general building and finishing works.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced joiner who enjoys working on varied projects rather than doing the same job every day.
The Role
The successful applicant will primarily be carrying out site joinery, including:
First and second fix joinery
Door and frame installation
Skirting, architraves and mouldings
Flooring and general timber work
Kitchen and bathroom joinery
Bespoke and remedial joinery
General repairs and alterations
Working as part of a team on extensions, renovations and refurbishment projects
We would particularly welcome applicants who also have experience in some of the following:
Patch plastering
Tiling
Basic bricklaying/blockwork
Demolition and preparation works
Dry lining
Roofing repairs
Basic plumbing
Flooring
Silicone/sealing and finishing works
General building and maintenance
You don’t need to be an expert in all of these areas joinery experience is the key requirement but the more skills you can bring to the role, the better.

We are looking for someone who:
Is an experienced and competent joiner
Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their workmanship
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is reliable, punctual and professional
Has a good attitude and a can-do approach
Is comfortable working in customers’ homes as well as on larger building projects
Can use initiative and solve problems on site
Takes pride in leaving a clean, tidy and professional job
Has additional building trade skills or a willingness to get involved with different aspects of a project
At Aquaforce, our projects can range from small domestic repairs and refurbishments through to extensions, renovations and larger commercial projects. No two days are necessarily the same, so flexibility and a willingness to get involved are important.
