We are seeking an experienced Site Installation Electrician to join a specialist electrical engineering and automation business based in Co. Tyrone. The company delivers electrical control panel design, manufacture, installation and commissioning across industrial projects, including plant facilities, heavy machinery and automated manufacturing environments. This site-based role will suit an autonomous electrician who can hit the ground running, diagnose faults independently and work safely as part of a close-knit engineering team. You will work across a varied mix of workshop and site projects, primarily in NI and ROI.

The Role:
As a Site Installation Electrician, you will:
Install, modify and commission industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power distribution, switchgear, control panels, trunking and SWA cabling
Carry out proactive maintenance and fault-finding on production lines, conveyors, pumps and automated plant machinery
Troubleshoot control circuits, relays and interface systems; PLC experience is advantageous
Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings, and assist with testing and commissioning control systems
Carry out inspection and testing to support compliance with current electrical standards, including BS 7671
Follow rigorous safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and permits to work, and work safely in industrial plant environments
Work collaboratively with engineers and panel builders to deliver projects on time
The role will involve a mix of workshop and on-site work, primarily across NI and ROI.
The Person:
To be successful in this Site Installation Electrician job, you will have:
A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in industrial, manufacturing or plant environments, including working independently
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent industrial/maintenance qualification)
AM2 certificate and 18th Edition BS 7671 certification
Experience in industrial electrical installations and the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Strong fault-finding skills; control panel, automation or PLC experience is advantageous
A proactive, dependable approach and a strong commitment to safe working practices
Full UK driving licence
ECS Gold Card (highly preferred, but not essential)
