The Team
The Private Client & Tax team advises UK and international clients on complex private wealth, tax and succession matters, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trustees, entrepreneurs and businesses.
The Role
Th firm are seeking a talented Associate with a strong academic background and high-quality private client training.
The role will involve:
- Wills, succession planning and wealth structures, including trusts, foundations and family investment companies.
- Inheritance tax, income tax and capital gains tax advice.
- Cross-border succession planning and international tax matters.
- Residence and domicile issues.
- Trust administration, restructuring and trustee/beneficiary advice.
- Lasting powers of attorney and capacity-related matters.
- Philanthropy, charitable matters and impact investing.
- Compliance and reporting obligations.
- Tax advice relating to UK residential property structures.
- General private client and tax matters.
About You
You will be technically strong, commercially minded and confident managing your own workload. You will have excellent communication and drafting skills, sound judgement, and a proactive and collaborative approach.
