Want to build software used by some of the biggest names in global finance?
I’m hiring for an established London fintech whose technology is used by the world’s leading investment firms.
You get the scale and complexity of building technology for major global financial institutions, but in an environment where you’ll actually have a say in what gets built and how it’s built.
You’ll own complex projects from idea to production — designing the architecture, making technical decisions, writing the code and technically leading delivery.
And there’s a lot still to build.
They’re pushing heavily into AI, LLMs and agentic products, using them alongside huge amounts of real financial data.
This isn’t an innovation lab or an AI side project — it’s becoming a core part of the technology they’re building.
You’ll be:
- Architecting and building greenfield products
- Writing production Node.js and Python
- Working on AI and agentic systems using real financial data
- Making decisions around architecture, scalability and AWS
- Technically leading projects while staying properly hands-on
- Working somewhere you can genuinely influence the direction of the technology
They’re looking for someone with 8+ years’ engineering experience, strong commercial Node.js + Python + AWS, solid architecture experience and a background in finance.
They’re based in London and go into the office twice a week.
