Are you an engineer with a mechanical background looking to come off the tools and step into a project-based role where you will be trained in quoting, project delivery and in-house processes, with routes to progress into Project Management or design/estimating?
On offer is a permanent, office-based position within a growing specialist engineering business, where you will develop your skills while managing a varied portfolio of projects supporting housing developers.
This well-established company designs, installs and services specialist pumping systems, and has recently secured significant investment to support continued expansion. As a result of ongoing growth, they are now looking to add to their project team.
In this role you will manage projects typically ranging from £2.5k to £100k, liaise directly with customers, and coordinate works which can include electrical testing, load testing, and maintenance activities. You’ll be supported with in-house training to learn their systems, processes and commercial approach.
This role would suit a mechanically minded engineer looking to transition off the tools, build long-term career development, and progress within a stable, growing business.
The Role:
- Managing a varied portfolio of engineering projects (£2.5k – £100k)
- Liaising with housing developers and building strong customer relationships
- Coordinating works including testing and maintenance activities
- Office-based in Frimley, Monday to Thursday
The Person:
- Engineering background with mechanical experience
- Looking to come off the tools and move into a project-focused position
- Commutable 5-days a week to Frimley
