To give current students a taste of a career in Engineering, we are looking for a Summer Intern to join us for 8 weeks. Working on our current projects, you’ll have the opportunity to support the team and learn from our Engineers on the day-to-day operations within a consultancy office.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Assist with basic geotechnical calculations and analysis, ground modelling, geo hazards assessment, under supervision
- Shadow engineers and geologists during coordination meetings with clients, contractors, or other disciplines
- To use your academic knowledge of the engineering fundamentals to contribute to our projects
- Gain valuable experience in a global consultancy

On top of that, you’ll have:
- Have completed a minimum of 2 years in either a bachelor’s or master’s degree, either in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or a similar related subject (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc)
- Have good problem-solving skills
- Be a creative and technical thinker
- Be able to demonstrate evidence of research and information gathering skills
- Have an interest in engineering within the Infrastructure or Energy market
- Have some design coursework available if requested
