MCS Group is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support to internal users within a fast-paced environment.
This is a 3-month temporary position, ideal for someone who is immediately available, or due to be available in coming weeks. The client anticipates a quick turnaround and a virtually immediate start!
Please note: Due to the multi-site/travel requirements of the role, candidates must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
The Role
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users
- Troubleshoot hardware, devices and software issues
- Investigate and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Support user accounts, including password resets and access issues
- Provide basic networking support and troubleshooting
- Assist with device setup, configuration and general desktop support
The Person
- Given the nature of the role, applicants should be able to demonstrate strong experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an L1/L2 IT support or service desk environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of hardware, Windows and general networking
- Confident dealing directly with users
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID/Azure AD is desirable
- Able to work at pace and manage a varied workload
