The role combines digital process development, structured verification and on-shift technical support to ensure stable, production-ready manufacturing solutions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
You will take ownership of multi-tasking mill-turn machining processes from concept through to stable production release, ensuring robust, verified and production-ready manufacturing solutions are implemented to a consistently high technical standard. The role is expected to uphold and reinforce strong technical discipline within the machining function.
Day to day programming of components, write out production plans and prove out more complicated programmes with operators.
Requirements
- Extensive experience programming in SolidCAM (other CAM packages considered)
- Experience working on precision components for safety critical environments
- Fanuc and mazatrol experience, all programs run through ISO code
- Mazak integrex’s and Mazak variaxis. Predominately 3+2 machines but also a 5 axis machine.
- Would also be required to write programs for older machines including 2 axis lathes, horizontals, Pumas, Doosans and Matsuura’s
Shifts – rotating weekly
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday, 6am – 2pm, Friday hours are 6am – 11:30am
Week 2 – Monday -Thursday 1pm – 9pm, Friday hours are 11:30 – 5pm
