Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To support service users attending the GIC either through one-to-one support or in groups.
- Support the various groups run by the clinic, including contributing to the development of them.
- To take a co-lead role in co-production and support service user engagement in quality improvement initiatives.
- Empower service users and respect autonomy.
- To work within safeguarding policies and procedures.
- To work with and support the multi-disciplinary team
- To contribute to service development, evaluation and quality improvement
- To contribute to the development and the updating of written resources for service users, including information on the website and information to be distributed to service users on the waiting list
- To liaise with other statutory and voluntary services as necessary
- To contribute to teaching of other professionals about gender diversity where appropriate
