Parkinson’s Care & Personal Assistant (12h Shifts)

Disability North in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Male Personal Assistant to support an individual at home. The role covers 36–48 hours per week on a 12-hour shift rota (8am–8pm or 8pm–8am), with on-site work and a probation period of 6 months.

The candidate will provide personal and practical support for someone with advanced Parkinson’s, maintain a calm, proactive approach, and be flexible for rota coverage including weekends and holidays. A COVID-19 vaccination will be expected.
