HVDC Control Room Operator – 24/7 Interconnector

National Grid Interconnectors in the UK operates HVDC links to connect Britain with neighbouring grids. We are recruiting two Control Room Operators, HVDC, for the IFA1 Interconnector based in Sellindge, Ashford.

The role covers monitoring and controlling HVDC assets with a rotating shift pattern 24/7/365. The ideal candidate will be able to stay calm under pressure, interpret complex operational data, and work closely with our partners to ensure safe and reliable energy dispatch.
