We’re recruiting an experienced Production Operative / CNC Operator to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business in Bath.
This is a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, Machine Operator or Production Operative with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The Role
- Operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components
- Set and adjust CNC machines where required
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Use micrometers, verniers and other precision measuring equipment
- Work to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carry out in-process quality checks
- Report production or quality issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You
You’ll ideally have previous experience in CNC machining, machine operating or precision engineering.
Relevant backgrounds could include:
- CNC Operator / CNC Machinist
- CNC Miller / CNC Turner
- CNC Grinding / Grinding Operative
- Machine Operator
- Production Operative
- Precision Engineering
You should be comfortable working from engineering drawings, using measuring equipment and producing components to tight tolerances.
CNC grinding experience is advantageous but not essential.
