About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Dawlish. Our school provides specialized education for secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs, including:
- Autism
- Asperger’s Syndrome
- ADHD
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in offering personalized support to our students, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to students and small groups
- Assisting with classroom activities and preparing learning materials
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking progress
- Encouraging positive behavior and social interaction
- Offering personal care and assistance as required
