Overview
In this role you will lead complex private client matters for high-net-worth individuals within a respected Private Client team. You will focus on trusts, tax and succession planning, drafting structures and variations, and acting as a professional Trustee. You’ll also mentor junior lawyers and support business development to grow the team. The position offers collaboration with financial advisers and tax specialists to deliver bespoke solutions. Responsibilities
- advise on trusts, tax and estate planning for high-net-worth clients
- draft trust structures and deeds of variation
- act as professional Trustee
- provide strategic inheritance and capital gains tax planning
- work with financial advisers and tax specialists to deliver bespoke solutions
- manage key client relationships
- mentor junior lawyers
- support business development initiatives
Key requirements
- 10+ years’ PQE in private client law
- extensive experience in trusts, tax and estate planning
- STEP qualification preferred
- exceptional drafting and analytical skills
- commercial and personally sensitive advisory ability
