Equity Research Analyst – Global Media & Internet

Overview

As Equity Research Analyst, you will cover the Global Media and Internet sectors to generate actionable investment ideas and support Portfolio Managers across strategies. You will conduct in-depth fundamental research and build detailed financial models to assess performance, returns on capital, and drivers. You will collaborate with other sector analysts and present ideas to PMs, shaping investment decisions in a rigorous, cross-border team. This role offers meaningful impact by translating sector dynamics into differentiated investment insights. You will work in a high-performance environment that values collaboration and intellectual rigor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research to identify high-conviction ideas
• Maintain deep understanding of covered companies and sectors including operations, finances and competition
• Present investment ideas to Portfolio Manager across global strategies
• Build detailed financial models and analyze performance, ROIC, valuation and drivers
• Collaborate with other sector analysts to strengthen research and idea generation
• Contribute actively in research meetings with differentiated insights

Key requirements

• 8-12+ years of relevant fundamental equity research experience
• Deep knowledge of Media, Internet and Telecoms sectors
• Proven ability to identify high-conviction ideas and articulate them persuasively
• Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills
• Excellent academic background
• CFA qualification preferred
