Senior Product Designer

Overview

In this role you will lead design for Zapp’s consumer app and internal tools, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, scalable experiences. You will help shape the design system and workflows, leveraging Figma and AI tools to accelerate iterations. You’ll conduct user research across warehouses and operations to inform user-centered solutions that balance usability and efficiency. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven position focused on delivering a world-class on-demand delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the mobile app and internal operations/commercial tools
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams to define problems and craft solutions
• Communicate design concepts and research findings effectively
• Map user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for usability, efficiency, data accuracy and clarity
• Use Figma for wireframes, mockups, prototypes; explore AI tools to speed design and handoff
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and field observations across warehouses and centers
• Design efficient interfaces for systems (Supplier, Inventory, Rider Dispatch, Warehouse Management) focusing on core workflows
• Contribute to and evolve the design system—standardising components and improving documentation

Key requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX/Product design across consumer apps and complex internal tools, ideally in logistics, retail/e-commerce, or on-demand services
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design process, product thinking, problem-solving and visual design
• Proven ability to conduct user research and apply UCD principles
• Passion and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in Figma (mockups, components, prototyping) with cross-platform understanding
• Interest in using AI to optimize workflows
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with startup mindset
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
