Senior Project Controller

Overview

In this role you will support fast-moving PMO and Project Controls activities within the Engineering department on a Sellafield commission. You will help implement PMO strategies, report on performance, and align activities with client requirements and regulatory standards. You’ll build cross-functional relationships with client representatives and internal teams, driving continuous improvement and accurate reporting. The opportunity emphasizes working toward net-zero carbon goals while delivering high-quality outcomes for a critical project. This position combines hands-on controls work with collaboration in a safety-first, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage PMO and Project Controls performance for assigned commissions under supervision
• Develop and implement PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on commissions
• Build stakeholder relationships with client representatives
• Prepare monthly reports and facilitate performance reviews
• Develop PMO controls methodologies including Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Integrate PMO and Planning disciplines including Risk Management and Planning
• Align PMO activities with Mace control centre, client requirements, and legislation
• Provide technical expertise to support PMO and Project Controls performance

Key requirements

• Experience supporting PMO and Project Controls services
• APM Planning and Project Controls (PPC) Foundation and Practitioner
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
