Overview
In this role, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and water-related systems within client sites, ensuring safe, compliant operations. You will work closely with the engineering supervisor and specialists to deliver high-quality service, contributing to safe building operations and efficient facilities management. The position supports the company’s focus on sustainable, reliable environments and operational excellence. You will have the chance to develop skills and gain security clearance as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
- Provide first line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice
- Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required
- Collaborate with engineering supervisor and specialist subcontractors to deliver high quality service
Key requirements
- L8 qualified with City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering
- Experienced in building services and the 18th Edition Test and Inspection
- Practical with good common sense and ability to work well with diverse teams
- Full clean driving licence plus current or ability to gain CTC clearance
- Able to act on own initiative and deliver work to high standards safely
