Professional Negligence Partner

Overview

In this role you will join a London-based specialist team to lead and grow the professional negligence and related insurance litigation practice. You will represent insurer clients on complex, high-value professional liability matters, focusing on solicitors, financial advisers, brokers and other professionals. You’ll strengthen client relationships and drive strategic growth of the practice within a forward-thinking firm. You will work cross-functionally to shape the practice and contribute to its long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Advise insurer clients on complex professional liability matters and claims
• Lead and develop the professional negligence/indemnity practice in London
• Drive business development and strengthen client relationships with insurers, brokers and professionals
• Contribute to strategic growth and expansion of the practice
• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic, ambitious team
• Manage high-value claims and maintain technical excellence

Key requirements

• Established Partner with a proven track record in professional negligence, professional indemnity and/or insurance litigation
• Experience acting for insurers and professional clients
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-value professional liability claims
• Strong relationships with insurer clients, brokers and professionals
• Proven business development and client relationship management capabilities
• Excellent technical and commercial skills
