Overview
In this role you will deliver a professional, welcoming front-of-house experience for tenants and visitors, coordinate queries, and uphold secure, well-presented reception areas. You will support building operations, including fire tests and evacuations, while assisting the Building Manager with administrative tasks. You’ll work with on-site teams to maintain high service standards and provide local area knowledge to help visitors and tenants. This is a friendly, client-facing role that directly contributes to the safety, efficiency, and reputation of the building.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and provide a professional, welcoming experience
- Notify tenants of arrivals and handle calls and enquiries
- Build strong relationships with tenants, visitors and on-site teams
- Maintain presentation of reception and lobby areas
- Conduct daily building checks and report maintenance or cleaning issues
- Coordinate with cleaning, security and maintenance teams
- Assist with building procedures including fire tests and evacuations
- Maintain accurate tenant and emergency contact information
- Support Building Manager with administration, reporting and general office duties
- Provide local area knowledge and proactively assist visitors and tenants
- Maintain high standards of security, confidentiality and customer service
Key requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Reception, Front of House, Concierge or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, confident and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritise and use initiative
- Proactive, flexible and customer-focused attitude
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong written English, spelling and grammar
