IT Asset Manager – ITAM ITIL bank

Overview

In this role you will own the lifecycle management of physical IT assets within a regulated banking environment, shaping HAM governance and frameworks. You will join a Centre of Excellence and drive asset lifecycle improvements across EMEA to meet regulatory standards and cost optimization goals. Expect a greenfield setup where you build out processes, not just BAU, aligning with global standards and DORA. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence technology governance and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle governance of physical IT assets
• Lead the transformation of the HAM function across EMEA
• Build out asset management frameworks in a greenfield environment
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment
• Drive cost optimisation and governance in IT asset management
• Contribute to the ITAM Centre of Excellence and global standards adoption

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations in a large regulated environment
• Experience in regulated FS (banking preferred)
• Proven ability to build out frameworks beyond BAU
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Experience with governance, audit readiness, and regulatory frameworks such as DORA
