Overview
In this role you will support a market-leading Investment Funds team in advising fund sponsors, institutional investors, and financial institutions on fund formation, structuring, and governance. You will draft and review core documents, coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, and help manage transactions across asset classes. This is a global, client-facing role that combines legal expertise with commercial insight to shape fund structures and investments. You will work closely with a supportive, high-performing team.

Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and structuring private investment funds (private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, infrastructure) for fund managers and sponsors
- Draft, review, and negotiate key fund documents (LPAs, private placement memos, subscription docs, side letters, investment management agreements) with partner oversight on complex matters
- Support advising institutional investors (pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, family offices) on fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions
- Assist with fund governance, investor terms, fee arrangements, and carried interest structures
- Coordinate with tax, regulatory, and other specialist teams on cross-disciplinary matters
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with approximately 3-5 years PQE in investment funds or asset management at a reputable law firm
- Good working knowledge of fund structuring, limited partnership law, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Ability to contribute to multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
