Overview

In this role you will safeguard financial integrity by ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls within the EMEA Payments product area. You will partner with desks, business managers, and senior finance to deliver timely P&L and risk reporting while driving new initiatives and process improvements. You will lead regional transition efforts, collaborate across functions, and shape the control environment to support growth. This is an opportunity to influence senior management decisions and advance financial operations in a fast-paced, high-impact setting.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, prepare, and report monthly profit and loss and risk metrics with accuracy and timeliness
  • Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new initiatives
  • Coordinate across functions to resolve control and reporting issues
  • Serve as analytical and project support resource for product control
  • Handle ad-hoc requests daily
  • Manage projects and initiatives related to product control and cross-business programs
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Maintain a strong control focus in all tasks

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • Qualified accountant with proven track record/qualified by experience
  • Experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a related area with in-depth understanding of P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a control focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple tasks and projects to conclusion
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
