Overview
In this role you will deliver a range of preventative, early intervention and statutory educational psychology work within Buckinghamshire Council. You will work closely with schools and partners to influence systems and practice, while benefitting from structured supervision and strong professional development. The position supports flexible, mobile working and aims to shift focus toward preventative work and strategic impact. This is a growth opportunity within a warm, collaborative service that values innovation and system-level change.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to preventative, early intervention and statutory work across schools and settings
- Support Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments within a protected allocation model
- Engage with schools, projects and wider service developments while maintaining meaningful involvement
- Provide consultation, intervention and workforce development to partners
- Benefit from flexible/hybrid working and manage your diary to maximise impact
- Participate in professional development, supervision and reflective practice
- Contribute to research, service development and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HCPC standards and professional requirements
Key requirements
- HCPC registration or eligibility for registration (for trainees)
- HCPC registered Educational Psychologists, Trainee Educational Psychologists at any stage of doctoral training, Newly qualified or experienced practitioners
