Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Define, plan and deliver medium to large-scale projects across the full lifecycle
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet objectives, budgets and schedules
• Manage governance, reporting, forecasting and performance tracking
• Drive risk, issue and dependency management with mitigation plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Support bid, proposal and estimating activities to win future work
• Ensure robust project controls including schedule management and monitoring
• Provide concise updates to senior leadership and governance forums
• Champion continuous improvement and best practices in project management
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Key requirements

• Proven PM/Programme Management experience, ideally in a matrix organisation
• Strong experience managing risks, issues and opportunities
• Track record delivering projects against cost, schedule and performance targets
• Experience with project controls, forecasting and performance measurement
• Knowledge of earned value management (EVM), schedule management and schedule risk assessment
• Experience supporting bidding, proposal development and estimating activities
• Strong commercial awareness and business judgement
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Ability to lead teams through complex challenges and changing priorities
