Sr Quality Engineer Poole

Overview

In this role you will lead the site Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement to meet aerospace, regulatory, and customer requirements. You will provide technical quality leadership, manage RCCA programs, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will support NPI initiatives and promote aerospace safety management across the business. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at Honeywell Poole Site with a strong focus on compliance and process maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of the site Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements
• Plan, coordinate, and support internal, customer, and certification audits; host external audits and ensure timely closure of findings
• Drive RCCA and continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality performance
• Manage customer quality concerns and lead resolution to preserve high satisfaction
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and promote aerospace Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Coordinate quality and compliance training programs and support product safety, reliability, and compliance activities

Key requirements

• Experience in Quality Operations Auditing, QMS, Continuous Improvement; knowledge of ISO standards
• Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience with extensive background in Aerospace or Industrial Manufacturing
• Proven success in managing and developing QMS with strong customer-facing RCCA investigations
• Aerospace auditing experience; Lead Auditor certification preferred; familiarity with AS9100D, AS9102, ISO 9001
• Six Sigma Green Belt minimum; Black Belt or Lean certification desirable; knowledge of NADCAP accreditation requirements
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical inspection methods, calibration systems, QA processes; familiarity with SAP and Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Demonstrable leadership and team development skills, effective stakeholder communication, ability to manage multiple priorities
