Overview

In this role, you will serve as the analytical backbone of the Central Marketing team, turning marketing and customer data into actionable insights that drive budgets, campaigns, and channel performance. You will own the reporting infrastructure and partner with performance marketing, brand, and data engineering to ensure decisions are grounded in reliable data. You’ll combine advanced data tooling with marketing know-how to advise senior stakeholders on what the numbers mean and what actions to take. This is a chance to shape cross-market marketing analytics at scale and support strategic decisions with data-driven models.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting suites in Looker for marketing performance
  • Write and optimise complex SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and modeling
  • Use Deepnote for ad-hoc analysis and repeatable analytics workflows
  • Query and interpret GA4 data in BigQuery to support attribution and behavioural analysis
  • Build Excel-based models and stakeholder-ready analyses
  • Define and track key marketing metrics with cross-functional teams (CAC, ROAS, CPA, LTV, conversion rates)
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses for non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Support budget planning and allocation with data-driven modelling across markets and channels
  • Maintain data governance for marketing datasets, including metric definitions and data lineage
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and improve analytics efficiency
  • Collaborate with data engineering to influence data models for marketing reporting
  • Mentor junior analysts on SQL, dashboards, and analytical rigour

Key requirements

  • Strong Looker skills including LookML
  • Strong Snowflake proficiency with efficient SQL on large datasets
  • Experience with Deepnote or similar notebook tools
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel
  • Solid grounding in marketing metrics and measurement frameworks
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-market organisations is a plus
