Overview
As a year-long placement with Yorkshire Water workstreams, you will contribute to process engineering design and sustainable solutions on live projects. You’ll split time between design and construction teams, gaining broad exposure and real-world impact within a growing, community-focused firm. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders and a supply chain to specify equipment and support project delivery. This role offers mentorship, hands-on project experience, and potential for a permanent role after graduation.

Responsibilities
- Deliver process engineering design including calculations, mass balance, and process flow diagrams
- Contribute to sustainable engineering solutions aligned with project scope
- Prepare technical specifications for procuring proprietary process equipment and engage with the supply chain
Key requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
