Job Description Generator Engineern Location: Midlands Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE Hours: Average 40 hours per week Pay: Salary paid weekly The Rolen We are currently recruiting for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a growing team covering customer sites across the Midlands. n The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of generators and control systems , as well as diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical faults. Key Responsibilitiesn n Service, maintain and install generators and control systems at customer premises n Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults n Fault-find on generator control panels and switchgear n Carry out portable proof load bank testing n Upgrade and modify existing generator control systems n Work safely and professionally while representing the company on customer sites n Requirementsn n Time-served Generator Engineer n Electrically biased with strong mechanical knowledge n 18th Edition qualification n Strong fault-finding ability on generator control panels and switchgear n Competent in portable proof load bank testing n Familiarity with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers and the ability to upgrade existing control systems n UPS knowledge preferred but not essential n Full UK driving licence n CSCS or ECS Card n Package & Benefitsn n £45,000 – £55,000 DOE n Industry-leading pension package n Dedicated office coordinators n New company vehicle n All required PPE provided n Company phone, tablet and equipment provided n 20 days’ holiday + bank holidays n Holiday entitlement increases to 22 days after 12 months n Weekly salary payments n Average 40-hour working week n Long-term career development opportunities n n n JBRP1_UKTJ
