Job Title: Head of Construction- Build a practice- London law firm- Flexible workingSalary: £100,000- £120,000PQE Level: PartnerContract Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Full-TimeFirm:Our client is a well-established medium sized London law firm that is going through an exciting period of growth and is benefiting from long term investment and a genuinely collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.Role:The firm is now at a point where they would like to hire a dedicated construction partner who can leverage their existing client base ( strong real estate offering) to build out a dedicated practice.

  • JCT and NEC contracts
  • Collateral warranties and professional appointments
  • Supporting the real estate team on the construction aspects of commercial and residential developments
  • Contentious Construction including litigation, adjudication, arbitration

Successful candidate:

  • 9+ PQE England & Wales qualified solicitor, either an existing partner or an ambitious senior associate/director looking for partnership
  • At least 9 years UK construction law experience from a UK law firm ( mainly non-contentious with contentious construction expertise desirable)
  • Entrepreneurial outlook- keen to build a practice
