Independent Lay Member, Editorial Standards & Complaints

IPSO invites applications for a lay member to join the Complaints Committee. The Committee examines editorial processes, considers concerns about journalistic practice, and protects freedom of expression. It meets 8-10 times a year to discuss and rule on complaints about content in IPSO-regulated media.

Successful applicants will have outstanding analytical and communication skills, with an interest in editorial standards. No prior regulatory or panel experience is required.
