Packaging Machinery Design Manager (Lead & Hands-On) – Annual Bonus

Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineering Design Manager for a Bedford-based role within a British manufacturer of packaging machinery and turnkey lines. You will lead the Drawing Office of 5 engineers, balancing 50% management with 50% hands-on design work on new machines, upgrades, and spare parts.

You will drive on-time delivery and KPI achievement, produce drawings, BOMs and spares lists, and coordinate with Electrical, Software & Controls and manufacturing
