We are supporting a groundworks and civils contractor with a full-time HSE Advisor role based on a construction site in Chesterfield. This is a contract position expected to run until February 2027, with an immediate start.
The successful HSE Advisor will:
- Support site safety management on a groundworks / civils project at a solar panel installation site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions.
- Promote a proactive safety culture within the team and contractors.
- Help manage permits to work and emergency response procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Previous construction site safety experience.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with on-site teams.
- Proven track record delivering safety improvements in a fast-paced environment.
