Houston & Hawkes is looking for anexperienced and commercially driven Operations Manager to lead a portfolio ofprestigious catering and hospitality operations across London.
This is a high-profile leadershipopportunity for an accomplished multi-site operator who combines commercialstrength with exceptional people leadership, outstanding client relationshipsand a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
Reporting to our Commercial Director, youwill take overall responsibility for the performance and continued developmentof your locations, leading and developing our Location Managers whiledelivering exceptional client and customer experiences, strong commercialperformance and consistently high operational standards.
THE ROLE
- Lead the overallfinancial, operational and service performance of your London locations.
- Drive continuousimprovement across food, hospitality and service, bringing innovation and flairto each location within agreed commercial and contractual frameworks.
- Manage budgets,forecasting, labour controls, cost efficiencies and financial reporting,ensuring agreed targets are achieved.
- Build andmaintain trusted client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistentlymet and developed throughout the life of each contract.
- Lead regularclient meetings and strategic reviews, covering financial performance, customerfeedback, innovation, marketing and future development.
- Inspire, leadand develop Location Managers, providing strong leadership, coaching andsupport to create engaged and high-performing teams.
- Championemployee engagement, training, development and succession planning, creating aculture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
- Act as a seniorambassador for Houston & Hawkes, building strong partnerships with clientsand ensuring Location Managers and their teams remain client and customerfocused.
- Continuouslyidentify opportunities to enhance customer experience, increase sales andimprove operational performance.
- Ensure thehighest standards of quality, presentation, customer service, food safety,health & safety and environmental compliance across all locations.
ABOUT YOU
- A confident andcommercially astute hospitality leader with proven multi-site experience withincontract catering, workplace dining, premium corporate hospitality or a relatedsector.
- Provenexperience leading and developing Location Managers and high-performing teamsacross multiple locations.
- Strongcommercial and financial management capability, with confidence managingbudgets, forecasting and operational performance.
- Exceptionalclient relationship and stakeholder management skills, alongside a strongbackground in people development, engagement and performance management.
- Aninspirational, visible and approachable leader who is highly organised,resilient and passionate about exceptional food, hospitality and customerexperience.
