AsProjectDirectoryouwillprovideprojectleadershipandbeaccountableforprojectdelivery,includingthecreationandimplementationoftheprojectdeliverystrategyandassociatedplanstoensureBovissuccessfullydeliversourcontractualobligations.

Essentialcharacteristicsandrequirementsincludedemonstrableexperienceinseniorstakeholdermanagement,strategicplanningand leadership,problemsolving,effectivepeoplemanagementandaprovenabilitytoleadinchallengingandcomplexenvironments.Youwillbe organised,anexcellentcommunicatorandhaveanexcellentgraspofcommercialaspectsoflargeprojectsincludingNEC4contracts,risk management, supplychainstrategiesandprocurement.

Key responsibilities

TheProjectDirectorwillbeaccountablefordrivingsuccessandprojectteamperformancetomeetbothBovisandclientprojectsuccessfactors, including:

• Developandimplementtheprojectstrategy,processesandworkingmethodsusingtheBovismanagementsystems.Toinclude projectconversionplansandprojectdeliveryplanstoensureexecutionofprojectdeliverableswithinagreedparameters(e.g.budget,time),inaccordancewithcontractualrequirementsandBovisqualitystandards.
• CreatingandmaintaininganIncidentandInjuryFreesafetyculture(design,clientandtradecontractors),demonstratingclearand uncompromisingleadershiptoensureweoperatesafelyprotectingeveryone.
• Reviewprogress,performanceandreporttoBovisleadershipteams,providemonthlyBusinessReportsandReviews,internallyand withclients.
• Identifycorrectiveactions,developsolutionsandcontributetocontinuousimprovement.
• Leadonclientandpartnerstakeholderrelationshipsandmanagingprojectmatters.
• DevelopProgrammesandschedulesforyourproject,includingdevelopmentofsite
• logisticsandotherplans.Coordinatealloperationsonsitewithyourteamdetermininganoverallplanofworks(includingdesign, procurement,constructionandcommissioning).Coordinatetheeffortsofteammemberstoensuretherequiredtasksaredoneon time.
• Maintaincostcontrol,workingwiththeprojectcommercialleadtomanageriskandopportunity.
• Developapeopleplanwithclearresponsibilitiesandsuccessionplanstosupportsustainablegrowthforpeopleatprojectandwithin thebusinessunit.Thisincludestalentretention,talentdevelopmentandrecruitment.
• Developprojectlevelqualityplansandworkingculturetodrive‘Rightfirsttime’cultureinallaspectsoftheproject.
• Developsustainablepractices.
• Leadprojectsupplychainstrategy,collaboratingwithotherprojectteamsandbusinessleaders,includingsupplychainperformancemanagement.
