Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will join a growing main contractor delivering 20m industrial and commercial projects with infrastructure elements near Dagenham. You will be supported by a full commercial team on site and contribute to cost control, procurement, and value management across the project lifecycle. This role sits on a 40-week project, offering visibility into how commercial decisions impact delivery in the industrial/ commercial sector. You will work within a dynamic, growth-minded company that values long-standing client relationships and project delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
- manage project costs and valuations for a 20m industrial/commercial project
- oversee procurement and subcontractor payments
- monitor variations and change control in collaboration with the on-site commercial team
- support cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project duration
- assist in financial close-out and final accounts on project completion
Key requirements
- Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification (preferred)
- extensive experience with a reputable main contractor
- ideally proven track record on industrial and commercial projects
- excellent commercial skills and awareness
- full UK drivers’ license
