Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing capital allowances claims for various property types
- Analyse construction cost data, property documentation, and financial records
- Draft technical reports for HMRC submissions
- Support client communications and attend meetings as required
- Collaborate with senior consultants and contribute to team projects
- Stay informed on relevant legislation and guidance
Key requirements
- Degree in surveying, accountancy, tax, law, engineering, or a property-related field
- Working towards or recently achieved RICS or accounting qualification
- Around 4-8 years’ experience in capital allowances or related discipline
- Exposure to commercial property transactions or construction projects
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in a consultancy or professional services environment
