Professional Services Team Lead

Overview

In this role you lead the EMEA professional services team for a global fintech focused on AML, fraud, and data management. You will balance delivery quality with profitability while coordinating with sales and other internal teams to meet client needs. You’ll grow and mentor a geographically dispersed team, shaping how we deliver software and services across pre-sales to implementation. This is a high-impact position with a clear growth trajectory and cross-functional collaboration at scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day tasks of the team to maintain staff and client satisfaction
• Develop and execute hiring and training plans aligned with sales forecasts
• Develop and manage regional budgets to meet profitability targets
• Mentor and plan career growth for team members
• Manage performance and address underperformance
• Interface with clients and internal teams across all delivery phases (pre-sales, delivery, configuration, testing, training, integration, implementation)
• Collaborate with sales, consulting, and other teams to understand prospective client needs

Key requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or Systems, Computer Science, mathematics, science, or related STEM field (minimum 2:2)
• 8+ years in technical consulting or implementation
• 2+ years leading teams
• Foundational understanding of finances for budgeting and execution
• Experience reading code and some SQL from a management perspective
• Self-motivated with strong follow-through
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Ability to define solutions aligning with client needs
