In this role you will lead geoenvironmental projects across contaminated land, groundwater and hydrogeology. You’ll drive investigations, data interpretation and reporting while mentoring junior staff. You’ll work with clients to deliver tangible improvements to sites and their surroundings, supporting Stantec’s growth in the Energy and Resources group. Responsibilities
- Scope, manage and execute field investigations for geoenvironmental projects
- Conduct groundwater sampling, aquifer testing and data interpretation
- Develop risk assessments and produce technical reports for clients and stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and supervise junior staff
- Contribute to business development and client communication
- Travel to UK offices and project sites as required
Key requirements
- Experience in groundwater studies for contaminated-site management/remediation, preferably in consultancy
- Ability to design, manage and supervise ground investigations
- Solid experience in groundwater sampling, soil and gas data interpretation, and risk assessment/reporting
- Clear communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Chartered or actively progressing toward chartered status
