Digital Construction Engineer

Overview

In this role you will plan, implement and manage digital tools to capture, share and use project data to improve delivery. You will oversee the project information model, ensure ISO 19650 alignment, and drive efficient data workflows across the asset lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams including IT and DPS to deploy fit-for-purpose digital solutions. This is a hands-on position focused on information management, BIM execution, and continuous improvement in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and share the project information model with the team and client per exchange and security protocols
• Ensure alignment with BAM’s ISO 19650 protocols and project-specific information requirements
• Coordinate model, mobilisation plans, and regular reviews
• Ensure proper use of the CDE per BAM information protocol and client requirements
• Maintain data quality for graphical and non- graphical information and report non-conformances
• Lead digital process implementation across project lifecycle and establish compliant workflows
• Contribute to MIDP and TIDP development and maintenance
• Collaborate with IT and DPS to ensure fit-for-purpose digital systems and working methods
• Identify and resolve technical challenges impacting productivity and performance
• Support BEP updates and other information protocol documents
• Assist risk management during the project lifecycle
• Provide training and support for digital tools and promote best practices
• Contribute to DPS Competence Centres in areas of expertise

Key requirements
