Windchill PLM Administrator

Overview

In this role you design, implement, and maintain Windchill PLM solutions to support product data management, engineering change control, and collaboration across global teams. You will customize Windchill, integrate it with other systems, and ensure secure, compliant operation for the UK Defence mission. You’ll work with cross-functional groups, develop technical docs, and validate system changes. This position offers scope to impact how data flows across programs and support upgrades that keep systems current.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Windchill PLM solutions
• Customize and configure Windchill to meet business needs
• Integrate Windchill PLM with other enterprise systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windchill solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill solutions
• Conduct system testing and validation for compliance with specifications
• Perform upgrades and maintenance of Windchill PLM systems

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience with PTC Windchill PLM
• Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and PLM processes
• Experience in Java, XML, and related technologies
• Familiarity with database management and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
