Overview
As Senior Account Manager in London, you will cultivate strategic relationships with banks and large institutional clients within front-office capital markets. You will map each client’s priorities, lead senior stakeholder engagements, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to drive growth and retention. You’ll stay current on equities, ETFs, and F&O markets to keep client conversations credible and actionable. This role blends commercial focus with client empathy to deliver meaningful outcomes and long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop strategic relationships with banks and large institutional clients
- Understand client priorities, context, and front-office requirements
- Lead regular account engagements, reviews, and senior stakeholder meetings
- Identify opportunities for growth, broader solution adoption, and deeper partnerships
- Advocate for the client internally, coordinating with teams to align with commercial objectives
- Maintain clear account plans with stakeholders, objectives, and growth opportunities
- Support commercial discussions, renewals, and ongoing activity
- Monitor market developments across equities, ETFs, and F&O to inform conversations
- Provide market-making and RSP insights to strengthen client approach
- Maintain accurate account records, opportunity tracking, and reporting
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior account management or 10 years in related commercial role within capital markets, financial technology, or front-office environment
- Strong market knowledge across equities, ETFs, and F&O
- Practical understanding of market-making and RSP business areas
- Experience working with banks and large institutional clients
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify and progress growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and organisational skills
