You will manage a varied residential property caseload within a busy Salisbury team, delivering high-quality, client-focused conveyancing from instruction to completion. You’ll work closely with clients, agents, lenders and third parties, ensuring compliance and efficient progression of matters. The role combines technical property knowledge with proactive risk management and excellent service delivery. Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential property matters (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold transactions)
  • Conduct title checks and review legal documents
  • Draft and review contracts, leases and related property documents
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
  • Ensure AML, SRA/CQS and lender compliance
  • Carry out searches, Land Registry applications and raise enquiries
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice throughout transactions
  • Maintain accurate case management records and progress matters efficiently
  • Manage client expectations and deliver excellent client service
  • Support business development and client retention where appropriate

Key requirements

  • 5+ years’ residential conveyancing experience
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures and lender requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems (Leap)
