Overview

In this role you contribute to developing and supporting international operating systems for a leading quantitative investment firm. Responsibilities

• Develop and support the company’s international operating systems
• Understand complex processes and ensure reliability, quality, and control
• Engage in multi-project development with flexibility
• Collaborate in a relaxed, fast-moving tech environment to deliver solid systems

Key requirements

• Degree in science/computing/numerate/engineering field
• Strong software development experience in C# or Java and OOP
• Strong database development experience, ideally SQL Server, T-SQL procedures, functions, indexes, and query optimization
• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux OS, command line and scripting, basic system administration
• Team-oriented with initiative and ownership on sub-projects
• Interest in technology innovation and willingness to learn
• Experience processing large data sets (desirable)
• Experience with market data providers and/or FIX protocol (desirable)
