Overview

In this contract role, you will monitor and analyse threat intelligence to protect critical systems within a major cybersecurity programme. You will collaborate with Security Architects, SOC teams, engineers, and stakeholders to translate intelligence into security design decisions and risk insights. The work is largely remote, with occasional client-site visits, and requires active SC clearance. You will shape security strategies, contribute to ESA and platform security initiatives, and help strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and assess threat intelligence from internal and external sources
  • Identify evolving threats and attack techniques affecting platforms and environments
  • Produce intelligence reports and strategic recommendations for technical and business stakeholders
  • Support development of Enterprise Security Architecture capabilities
  • Collaborate with Security Architects to inform design decisions
  • Conduct threat modelling and risk analysis across platforms
  • Support investigations with intelligence-driven insights
  • Analyse IOCs, TTPs, and threat actor activities
  • Contribute to platform security initiatives and defensive strategies
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as Threat Intelligence Analyst or similar
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience analysing threat actor behaviour and malware trends
  • Understanding of Enterprise Security Architecture principles and security strategy
  • Experience supporting Platform Security in complex environments
  • Familiarity with security architecture design and secure-by-design principles
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or Cyber Kill Chain
  • Experience producing intelligence reports for stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
