Overview
In this role you will lead global sourcing and category management for Travel, Meetings and Expenses, applying commercial acumen to optimize cost, service, risk and sustainability. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and implement scalable procurement transformations that support GSK’s mission. You’ll shape supplier ecosystems, governance and performance, while delivering measurable value and improved traveller experience. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global TME sourcing and category strategy (travel services, booking tools, corporate cards, expense management)
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation and ongoing governance to ensure value and consistency
- Leverage data analytics to identify savings, improve compliance and traveler experience
- Lead regional change initiatives for tools, processes, or commercial models
- Coach cross-functional teams and regional partners for smooth delivery and adoption
- Own end-to-end category planning, prioritisation and benefit delivery
- Manage supplier relationships and performance frameworks for quality and resilience
- Develop business cases and present to senior stakeholders
- Ensure regulatory, tax and duty of care compliance globally
- Track/report category performance and non-financial benefits (traveller wellbeing, carbon reduction)
- Support digital transformation of TME processes, including finance system integration
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Finance, Business or related discipline
- Significant experience in procurement, sourcing and category management
- Experience managing complex supplier relationships, negotiations and contract governance
- Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to deliver measurable business value
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with global, cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including senior stakeholder engagement
- Experience in Travel, Meetings and Expenses is advantageous but not essential
