Overview
In this role you deliver day-to-day servicing of electrical infrastructure within a central London commercial property, handling breakdown maintenance and planned work. You’ll work as part of the Building Services team to keep critical systems reliable, safety-compliant, and performing at scale. You’ll rotate shifts and may become the appointed person for the site, contributing to smooth operations and client satisfaction. This role offers hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration in a large, established company.

Responsibilities
- Attend reactive maintenance calls and resolve issues
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) within stated timeframes
- Become Appointed Person (AP) for the site if required
- Assist client with adhoc tasks as needed
- Develop a solid understanding of all plant and systems
- Cover shifts from 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am
- Maintain familiarity with electrical applications on site
- Participate in safety and compliance requirements
Key requirements
- City & Guild level 2 minimum / NVQ level 3 minimum
- Engineering role in service industry
- Experience with client relationships
- Knowledge of control systems
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- IEE 17th Edition
- IOSH Working Safely (minimum)
