Overview
In this General Manager role, you will own the game’s overall business performance and long-term growth. You will align strategy across studios, publishers, and central teams, shaping the operating rhythm and investment priorities. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration with publishing, marketing, sales, and PR to realize the game’s growth ambitions. This is a high-impact, executive-level position that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive sustainable success in PlayStation’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end business performance including financial results and operational outcomes
- Define success metrics, reporting rhythms, and translate results into strategy adjustments
- Align with studio, publisher, parent company, and central teams
- Manage annual calendar including strategic planning, financial cycles, and stakeholder communications
- Partner with game development and publishing to set a unified mid-term vision
- Communicate priorities and rally leaders around strategy while adjusting priorities as needed
- Lead stakeholders in publishing (Marketing, Sales, PR) and central publishing groups
- Develop organizational model, core processes, and capabilities to ensure smooth operation
Key requirements
- 15+ years in general management including strategy, organizational design/transformation, HR, financial management and reporting
- Experience leading a mid-size studio, game, or publisher
- Executive Producer or General Manager experience for a game preferred
- Proven track record of leading cross-discipline teams in game development and/or publishing
- Strong stakeholder navigation and conflict-resolution abilities
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills; hands-on when needed
- Fluent in English
- Background in post-master’s degree in Business/Economics, Finance or Human Resources
