Site Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee day-to-day site operations on flagship leisure, commercial, and hospitality developments in Tonbridge, ensuring safety, quality, and progress. You will work closely with senior leaders, benefiting from mentorship and a clear pathway to senior roles such as Project Manager. Your focus will be on delivering high standards for Tier 1 projects and representing the contractor to clients and authorities. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of contractors and direct labor on site
• Enforce Tier 1 standards across health & safety, quality, and logistics
• Represent the contractor during site walk-throughs with clients, public sector bodies, and local authorities
• Manage short-term look-ahead programmes to keep progress on schedule
• Deliver daily site inductions, RAMS reviews, and safety briefings

Key requirements

• Solid site management experience on leisure, hospitality, or commercial projects
• Knowledge of Tier 1 processes and high-standard site setups
• Confident client-facing communication for public sector stakeholder interaction
• SMSTS, CSCS Managerial Card, First Aid at Work (Fire Warden or Scaffold Inspection desirable)
